CHLORPYRIFOS TECHNICAL

Chemical name : O,O-diethyl O-3,5,6-trichloro-2-pyridyl phosphorothioate Molecular formula : C9H11Cl3NO3PS Purity : 95%, 97% & 99% min. Appearance : Colourless crystalline solid Odour : Faint Specific gravity/density : 1.30 – 1.40

Classification of mode of action: It is a combination of organophosphatic and synthetic pyrethroid insecticide, due to the combination it exhibits synergistic effect on insects, it controls aphids, jassids, thrips, whitefly, cutworms, borers both root and shoot. It also controls all lepidopterous pests like caterpillars etc. This acts as a contact and stomach poison.

Product Potential : A combination product controls foliage insects through contact and stomach poison. It has been found to be most effective where conventional insecticides have failed in paddy tea and vegetables. Very effective against nematodes and termites.

Dose and Application Procedure : Spray 2-2.5 ml./per litre of water.
