process of metamorphosis as the insects pass from larva to pupa to adult. Metamorphosis requires the careful synchrony of many hormones and other physiological changes to be successful, and azadirachtin seems to be an "ecdysone blocker." It blocks the insect's production and release of these vital hormones. Insects then will not molt, thus breaking their life cycle . Azadirachtin may also serve as a feeding deterrent for some insects. Depending on the stage of life-cycle, insect death may not occur for several days. However, upon ingestion of minute quantities, insects become quiescent and stop feeding. Residual insecticidal activity is evident for 7 to 10 days or longer, depending on insect and application rate . Azadirachtin is used to control whiteflies, aphids, thrips, fungus gnats, caterpillars, beetles, mushroom flies, mealybugs, leafminers, gypsy moths and others on food, greenhouse crops, ornamentals and turf .

Classification and mode of action : TRASCO Neemazin Liquid is a potential Neem based viscous used as a urea coating agent, Also has soil based systemic insecticidal properties.
Product Potential : Farmers can use Trasco Neemazin liquid as urea coating agent.
Farmers apply urea to their fields in large quantities forgetting that this applied urea is not fully utilized by the plant. On an average about 30% of the applied Nitrogen is lost due to leaching in the fields due to non absorption.The conversion rate of amide nitrogen to nitrate nitrogen is so high that the plants cannot assimilate the same quickly.
The application of Neemazin liquid to urea by coating the same at a proper rate ensures that the urea is slowly converted to nitrate nitrogen for complete uptake by the plant.
The nitrifying bacteria’s action slows down due to application of neem to urea. The urea thus is slowly converted to available nitrogen for the plants. Thus the fertilizer use efficiency is brought upto 100% .

Dosage and method of use:-
Take 1 kg Neemazin dust and mix thoroughly with 50 Kg Urea coating the Urea till a brownish color appears. You can store the Urea for later application in Bags or can apply the same as and when required, but take precautions to store the same in an area free of high moisture
