Trasco Zinc Active

(Pure Zinc Sulphate 21% as Zinc)
Sulphur-11% as S

Zinc (Zn) is essential for plant growth because it controls the synthesis of indoleacetic acid, which dramatically regulates plant growth. Zinc is also active in many enzymatic reactions.

Zinc is an essential component of various enzyme systems for energy production, protein synthesis, and growth regulation. Zinc-deficient plants also exhibit delayed maturity. Zinc is not mobile in plants so zinc-deficiency symptoms occur mainly in new growth. Poor mobility in plants suggests the need for a constant supply of available zinc for optimum growth. The most visible zinc-deficiency symptoms are short internodes (rossetting) and a decrease in leaf size. Chlorotic bands along the midribs of corn, mottled leaves of dry bean and chlorosis of rice are characteristic zinc-deficiency symptoms. Loss of lower bolls of cotton and narrow, yellow leaves in the new growth of citrus also have been diagnosed as zinc deficiencies. Delayed maturity also is a symptom of zinc-deficient plants.

Zinc deficiencies are mainly found on sandy soils low in organic matter and on organic soils. Zinc deficiencies occur more often during cold, wet spring weather and are related to reduced root growth and activity as well as lower microbial activity decreases zinc release from soil organic matter. Zinc uptake by plants decreases with increased soil pH. Uptake of zinc also is adversely affected by high levels of available phosphorus and iron in soils.

Zinc is partly mobile in wheat and barley. In these crops pale yellow chlorotic areas appear on middle leaves, halfway up the stem. Chlorotic symptoms first develop in the lower half or mid-section of the leaf followed by grey or dark brown necrosis of the leaf. Generally, stems are very short and often fan-shaped with leaves crowded together at the top.

Zinc deficient beans are stunted and older leaves are smaller and narrower. The older leaves may have light blotches between the veins. Younger leaves will have a more normal healthy green color but may be smaller.

In corn, symptoms occur within a few weeks of emergence as light yellow bands on the youngest leaves. The most severe symptoms occur on the youngest leaves from the unfolding bud, referred to as "white-bud". Old leaves remain dark green and appear healthy. In a prolonged case of deficiency the middle leaves develop pale yellow interveinal chlorosis near the tips. A zinc deficiency prevents the elongation of internodes and leaves, which results in short stems with the leaves crowded together at the top in a fan-shaped appearance.

Note that zinc deficiency symptoms are similar to those of manganese and iron in some crops.

Solution:- For crop plants to recover from Zinc deficiency Trasco Zinc Active can be used as a foliar spray

Dosage Of Trasco Zinc Active:-This is pure Zinc sulphate formulation dissolve 400gms of Zinc Active/2000lits of water and spray both the surfaces liberally repeat after 25 days gap if necessary.
